Review - Aventus by Creed
Are you in search of a signature scent. Subtle enough so you can wear it during the day, yet with enough body for a night out. Creed Aventus may just be this scent.
Created in 2010 by legendary fragrance house Creed, Aventus is apparently inspired by the life of Napoleon Bonaparte. So what does a Royal scent actually smell like?
Before I get into the actual notes, let me say that Aventus is a unique fragrance. I haven't smelled anything like it, and even those fragrances that attempt to copy this masterpiece, miss completely.
The first thing that will hit you is Pineapple. Pineapple and Blackcurrant with a very slight metallic twang. The sweetest is counterbalanced with a heavy does of musk and a hint birch for a masculine edge.
Aventus is a definite compliment getter. It's by far my most complimented scent. Hence why I believe it makes a perfect signature scent. What really sells it for me, is the unique factor. There's no citrus, or aquatic notes. There is no spice and only a hint of wood. It's not trying to hard to be "masculine". This scent suits a younger guy I think this is the perfect fragrance for your 20's. You'll smell like absolute class.
This is my goto scent. An important meeting - Aventus, drinks with a date - Aventus.
This is a stunning fragrance. Yes, you should definitely add it to your collection.
